Fortoak expands PPE portfolio
With the continuing onslaught of the Covid-19 virus affecting all of us, we are continuing to support the fight against this terrible affliction. Fortoak is now fully stocked up with a core range of PPE products including masks, alcohol-based sanitisers and face shields. Today we are pleased to announce we are expanding, due to customer demand, with the sourcing of gloves, wipes (75% alcohol based), aprons and gowns. Whilst there have been considerable PPE supplies to date, churn and turnover of all products will continue with unprecedented demand for the next few months.
China is currently trying to suppress a second wave of Covid-19. However successful they are being, our intel supports the fact they are working towards a minimum full re-opening of China, socially and industrially at the beginning of June. In our view, China has successfully controlled the spread of Covid-19, however, to date their schools are still shut, and socially they are running at 50%. With this in mind, and the fact that the UK is surpassing death rates of even Italy and Spain, it suggests that our support in supplying PPE products will continue for the foreseeable future, if not indefinitely.
