On 1st July, Fortoak’s own Alex Vergopoulos will be taking on an incredible challenge alongside Nick Kirkham, Managing Director of Premier Vanguard (Premvan). Together, they’ll cycle an impressive 276 miles from London to Paris in just four days, raising money for the Evo Foundation.
The Route
Their journey begins in London before heading to Dover (82 miles), crossing the Channel to Calais and continuing to Abbeville (76 miles). From there, they’ll ride through Beauvais (64 miles) before completing the final 54-mile stretch into Paris, finishing beneath the iconic Eiffel Tower.
It’s a demanding physical challenge, and everyone at Fortoak is proud to support Alex as he takes it on.
The Whole Team Is In On It
While Alex is on the road, the team back at Premvan will be joining the effort by attempting to match the daily mileage using walking pads and an exercise bike. Every mile walked and cycled helps show our support and contributes to the fundraising effort.
Supporting the Evo Foundation
The challenge is raising money for the Evo Foundation, a charity that helps people through education, tackles poverty, and creates opportunities for brighter, more secure futures.
As a team, we’re proud to support such a worthwhile cause and to stand behind Alex throughout the journey.
We’ll be sharing updates as the ride progresses, so keep an eye on our social channels to follow the team’s progress from London all the way to Paris.
